It is not compulsory as a Professional Guide or Professional Hunter to be a member of the Z.P.G.A. and in fact it is restricted to individuals who comply with our strict criteria for consideration before membership is granted. Certification and Licensing

The Z.P.G.A. is the recognised examining partner with Zimbabwe Parks & Wildlife Management Authority, whereby qualified Members volunteer and actively participate as examiners, invigilators and markers at all of the Learner Professional Hunters exams, the Proficiency Shoots, the Proficiency interview and of course the Proficiency exam. Ensuring fair participation and transparency at all levels of qualification, a point often overlooked once qualified

Collectively Members, through the Z.P.G.A. have greater representation and lobbying power on matters that directly relate and affect our industry. Through participation Members have a greater chance at directing new as well as amending or correcting old legislation
