The Z.P.G.A. and our members are committed whole heartedly to education & conservation, it is no surprise we have partnered with incredible conservation groups who share the same focus as the Z.P.G.A.
The Z.P.G.A. gets behind education wherever possible, a Zimbabwe Professional Guides Association Member is quite literally with you every step of the way, you will find us at your first exam, the LPH paper, you will find us at your shooting test, at your oral interview and examining you at your proficiency.
If there was ever an association that gets behind its members the Z.P.G.A. is most certainly that Association.
The Z.P.G.A. Guides are found throughout Zimbabwe and as a result are best placed to assist in citizen science projects. Citizen science is the practice of public participation and collaboration in scientific research to increase scientific knowledge. Through citizen science, people share and contribute to data monitoring and collection programs.
The Z.P.G.A. have identified Conservation partners that are working in and around Zimbabwe, these are groups that have been set up in their own right and whom are doing an incredible job in their area of expertise. All are dedicated to wildlife, wildlife protection and protection of the wild spaces our wildlife resides in.
In the beginning of 2020 the Association initiated a project whereby we encouraged schools around the Country to have their first year students plant trees. A new decade and a new era in global environmental awareness. The Association would like to roll out this initiative to all significant influencers to drive the tree planting challenge.
